Vets who.... like to put you on the "guilt " treadmill of healthcare... some who like to offer a "tiered" approach i.e.; picking from column A gets you minimal care, column B a little better and so on..( as if you don't want the best healthcare possible), or just misguided, "get em in, get em out" vets...
But ultimately I've found that the size of your checking acct is directly proportional to your bill, with little or no regard to the ultimate care of the animal.
I've had dogs and other animals all my life (51 yrs) .... but with kids, i have had a lot of different animals. My point is, I've seen and met a variety of vets...
In the last 20 yrs I have seen vet pricing sky rocket, and it's not that I'm opposed to anyone giving that much of their life up to take care of animals, they need to live relative to their education as well...

Our ( my daughters bring their dogs down from NJ to see dr. Spofford, when not an emergency) experience at Bayside has been a friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable dr's, and COMMON SENSE advice, at reasonable prices...
