I read the last review and it sounds like they had a pretty bad experience. All I can say is that we have been there at least 15 times and have enjoyed it every single time. Just a beautiful view, really good (not great) food, and a nice atmosphere.

The creme brulee was bad. The texture was all wrong and the only thing saving it is that in the end it's still all sugar -- so it's at least sweet.

The entrées are pricey with a small selection, but the dinner buffet was a pretty good deal for $25, which includes salad and dessert. If you're looking for upscale dining, this is a good place to go.

The strawberry and peach cobbler is a large dish for a dessert but pretty great, I'd definitely order this one again (but I'll also probably not be coming back here)

Located in the Hyatt resort in Cambridge. Pricey, decent portions (huge plate of calamari!), very good quality, good service. If you don't mind paying $25-35 for an entree, it's nice little place.

We had a reservation for the seafood restaurant "Blue Point Company" but changed it at the last minute for Water's Edge Grill due to the distance away of the seafood restaurant and we have two seniors in their 80's and didn't want to walk that far. It said reservations suggested, but we got in at 5:30 pm, no problem; it was pretty much empty. The waitress asked if anyone wanted water although there were water glasses on the table and you would assume they would fill them. One diner asked her if the cream of crab soup was a bowl or cup and she said she didn't know. When she took our orders, she didn't understand the menu where it said if an entree had an asterisk next to it, you got a choice of rice or potato. I tried to explain this to her, but she didn't understand, so she took potato or rice orders from everyone that she later did not bring. We ordered crab dip and as she approached the table, she dropped some of the french bread slices that accompanied it and then asked us if we wanted more! We said, yes, but she never brought any. All of the french bread slices were burned black on both sides-- this is a dish that shouldn't even have been served in that condition. One person ordered the soup and another in our party ordered a salad. They were never brought. After approx. 45 min., the entrees were brought--- the two scallop entrees were both cold; the mashed potatoes on 4 orders were very cold although the chicken was hot. The gravy in the separate gravy boat was cold as well. We asked about the salad and soup and she said she forgot. They were taken off the bill. The food at best was mediocre and the service terrible. Drinks were not refilled without asking multiple times with long waits. One diner ordered a mixed drink which was made with the wrong ingredients; when he pointed this out to her eventually, she took it and it appeared that more ingredients were added to this incorrectly concocted original drink! Mind you, the place was almost empty and the servers and cooks (visible in front of us) appeared to be standing around, doing nothing. This meal came to close to $300 for 8 and they automatically add a 21% tip, no matter what the service is. Later, we found out that those that went to "Blue Point Company" had a much better experience. We should've eaten either at that location or just ordered sandwiches at the bar. The Hyatt Regency needs to train their servers as this server kept saying they were new. However, the food itself was not up to par.

Food was pretty tasty. The half chicken in peach BBQ is a nice dish.

The place is pretty pricey for the quality. Wait staff is young and inexperienced, awkward, and spacey. Very sub par service -- we were seemingly forgotten about a few times. Overall I'm unimpressed but not completely disappointed. I enjoyed my meal but would say it's worth 60% what I was charged.
